Reaching Out for God  

Our Purpose:
To glorify God; expressing His character and purposes by

  • bringing people to Jesus Christ so that lives are changed by the power of the Holy Spirit.
  • making disciples; equipping them for a life of worship, ministry in the church and mission in the world.
Our vision :
That God would have Bellevue Chapel to be and to be known in our city as a loving, worshipping and growing church, where people reach out for God, find relevance and worth in a caring fellowship, and commit themselves to discipleship and service in the church their communities and the world.

Our Values:
As Christians, who have experienced the greatness of God's love in our lives, we value;

  • our relationship with God experienced in our daily lives and circumstances.
  • prayer which is faithful and persistent as the means of expressing our complete dependence on God with a willingness to accept and respond in faith as he answers.
  • opportunities to read God's word and hear Him speak to us through it
  • the opportunity to share Jesus with those we meet in ways that are relevant to them.
  • a commitment to fulfilling Christ's commission to take the good news to all nations.
  • regular corporate worship and Communion as an expression of our joy in God and devotion to Christ.
  • the gifts each one of us receives from the Holy Spirit as they are used for the building up of the church.
