World Mission

We are committed to fulfilling Christ's commission to take the good news of the gospel to all nations and we support a wide range of mission activities and people. Our objectives are:

That prayer for mission would be both common and specific
To prepare Bellevue members to be ready and willing to go
To be culturally stretched with a greater world awareness
To have partnerships with churches/organisations based in developing countries
To provide excellent pastoral care for our Mission Partners
To make lifestyle choices that provide a positive impact on trade and ecology
To have passion in our pockets so that Mission activities are well funded
To have passion in our feet so that more members participate in mission

Mission Partners

Our main focus is on our Mission Partners. These are Bellevue members who have made a medium to long term commitment to a mission ministry and this currently ranges from working with Operation Mobilisation in Italy through to radio broadcasting in the Philippines

We also support other missionaries, mission organisations and humanitarian relief work. Members are encouraged to participate in mission in various ways such as summer teams. Updates are published regularly with the latest information about our Mission Partners along with other mission news.

Financial Support

We encourage financial support to be given by means of standing order and gift aid. ln addition. There are also the door-side boxes labelled for mission Offerings for visiting missionaries or relief work will be arranged as required. Our mission involvement is coordinated by the World Mission Team and for further information on any of our Missionary Partners please speak to any of the elders or the World Mission Team Coordinator.
