Who are we?

Bellevue Chapel is an independent evangelical church located on Rodney Street in the Bellevue area of Edinburgh. The members and worshippers of Bellevue have been meeting here since 1919 although the actual building was built around 1880.

As an independent church Bellevue relies on lay leaders (elders) for its church government and has no ordained clergy however we do have a full time pastor. The elders provide leadership and oversight to the church in all spiritual matters and provide teaching and guidance.

We have people of all age ranges who attend our various services and a warm welcome is offered to everyone whether you are just visiting the city on holiday, seeking a church or simply curious to find out more about the Christian faith.

"Bellevue Chapel Evangelical Church" is a charity registered in Scotland with the "Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator" - Charity No. SC003330
