Our People...

Church Pastor

May I take this opportunity to introduce myself.
Originally from Belfast, I moved to Edinburgh in July 2003 with my wife and three children after spending 17 years in France.

Bellevue Chapel may be hard to 'label',
but as a church we seek to make our contribution to what God is doing in Edinburgh. Who are we? Christians - ordinary people, committed to Jesus as the unique Son of God, who have experienced the transforming reality of His forgiveness. We seek to live this out in our homes, work and communities, communicating His truth to our culture and building a local church 'family' characterised by loving friendship and joy.

Life's big questions challenge all of us. We have discovered in our culture that there are many people who are still seeking God, seeking spiritual truth, and who are prepared to come to a church event.

Our Sunday morning service is for all ages and is designed to be as inclusive as possible. We encourage and welcome anyone, from any religious or social background, to join with us to hear and consider God's message of grace.

Can I particularly recommend the Alpha Course? Millions of people worldwide have attended this course and found it tremendously helpful in exploring the Christian faith.

If you are interested in finding out more about the church please feel free to ask a member of the Welcome team for a free copy of the Bellevue Handbook which contains a lot of useful information about the church including what we believe, what activities go on here and how to get more involved.
Please do feel free to visit or contact us. You will be more than welcome.
