As Elisha's life ends he brings God's Word to the new King, its a word of challenge to wholehearted commitment that victory would and could be there's. Sadly because his trust in God is halfhearted his response to Elisha's command is also halfhearted. The story reminds us that God's power of life comes to those who trust His Word and |Obey it wholeheartedly.
