Following Jesus

At Bellevue we long for people to live Christ-centred lives. To ‘live for Jesus today’ is the calling of every follower of Jesus. How exciting then to take a second outing in the great Gospel of Luke. We pick up from where we left off just before Easter last year. The key verse for our section is Luke 9:51: “Jesus resolutely set out for Jerusalem”. Jesus focus is on His mission and call: to give His life on the Cross to reconcile man to God. This is the focus and determination in Jesus from now on. As he travels towards Jerusalem His time is partly spent preparing the twelve disciples. Not only will we learn a lot about why Jesus came. We will also look at what this means for us. (Luke 9:23)
