Running Group
The Bellevue running group meets every Wednesday at 6.30pm outside Bellevue Chapel on Rodney Street. It's open to everyone over the age of 18 regardless of ability or experience. We are a friendly group and we'd love for you to join us. There is no cost or membership required to come along.
As a group we are registered with Jog Scotland and our leaders are qualified Jog leaders.

Julie Paterson
Julie is a keen runner with a few half marathons under her belt, but mainly runs for fun. She is a qualified Leader in Running Fitness (certified by U.K. Athletics.) Julie is married to Alan and has a teenage son. Julie is a primary teacher and runs the children’s work and Mums Alive at Bellevue Chapel.

Anne Knowles
Anne is a qualified Running Fitness leader (certified by U.K. Athletics) and enjoys running to maintain her fitness. Anne is a physiotherapist and Pilates instructor and has been a member of Bellevue since 2002. Anne plays trombone and is part of the music team at Bellevue.

Gillian Wills
Gillian is a Running Fitness leader (certified by U.K. Athletics) and works as a nurse. She has been a member of the church for about 15 years and is often found on the welcome team for our Sunday services.

Simon Fraval
Simon enjoys a wide range of sports – rain, hail, shine or snow. He has competed in several half marathons in Australia and East Africa, but now prefers the regular rhythm of a weekly social run, often as a qualified Running Fitness leader (certified by U.K. Athletics). Simon has been a member of Bellevue Chapel since 2022.
