#NoHomeToStayHome

Bethany Christian Trust is a national charity that aims to relieve suffering and meet the long term needs of homeless and vulnerable people in Scotland. As a church we are trying to support Bethany in the current crisis by providing both financial and practical assistance.

When you are homeless you are more likely to suffer from underlying health conditions and won’t have facilities to wash your hands. Self-isolating can seem like a luxury. During the lockdown Bethany have been operating the Care Shelter, providing food and accommodation to homeless people in Edinburgh in the Waverley Hotel. Bethany are currently running a fundraising campaign to raise sufficient funds for this and other vital services to continue at a time when their charity shops have had to close.

We would encourage you to consider supporting the work of Bethany Christian Trust by donating via their website:

Three of our young people have been doing a sponsored run around Inverleith Park 100 times between them (~ 200Km over several installments!) and have raised over £1000 so far – well done guys!
